The Three Friends: They’re, Their, and There

There, their, they’re poem.

They’re three friends who cause some fuss,
But learning them is worth the fuss.
Let’s take a walk — come if you dare —
And meet They’re, Their, and over There!

“They’re coming soon,” said Mr. Bear,
“That means they are — so be aware!”
They’re happy folks who like to cheer,
They’re full of joy when they are near.

Next is Their — a group that owns.
Their house is made of sticks and stones.
Their dog is loud, it likes to bark,
Their cat naps daily in the park.

And then there’s There — a place, you see,
Like “over there” or “by the tree.”
It’s not a person, not a pet,
Just where things are — don’t you forget!

They’re going to their house over there,
Three little words that we all must share.
Learn them once, and you’ll be wise,
With grammar skills that win the prize!
